The aim of this website is to offer moral support to frightened cat owners who are facing FIP maybe for the first time - as well as actively support FIP research
This website has been set up not least thanks to the endless encouragements of countless fellow Birman breeders.
First a bit of symbolism: See the kitten in the upper left hand corner. See what is behind him? It is part of the sunīs corona. The corona virus, which causes FIP, looks something like this, seen under a microscope - that is how the virus got its name.
